Frequently asked questions

Can this calendar see my personal payment?

No. It shows public agency schedules only. It cannot see an SSA, VA, DFAS, OPM or bank account.

Why might my bank show the money early?

Some financial institutions make eligible deposits available before the official settlement date after receiving payment information. Early availability is controlled by the bank and is not guaranteed.

Why are there two SSI dates in one month?

When the first day of the next month is a weekend or federal holiday, that next month's SSI payment may be scheduled on the preceding business day. It is a timing shift, not an extra benefit payment.

Where should I check a tax refund?

Use IRS Where’s My Refund. A third-party website cannot safely or accurately show your personal federal refund status.
